Joyce Marie Satchell

Momma Joyce was a devoted wife to her husband Augustus Satchell while they were married. She was a homemaker and worked on a farm some of her life until she became disabled. She loved doing craft work, drawing and cooking her favorite meals.

She dedicated her life to God at a young age. She loved to read her Bible every day. She raised all of her children and grandchildren in church. She was a true soldier for the Lord. She wasn’t afraid to tell you if you weren’t living right for God. She was a God fearing woman. She will truly be missed.

She was preceded in death by her Parents Samuel Latham and Lyda Keech, one Brother Dick Martin.

She is survived by her Brother Cleon Latham, 5 Children Alton Latham, Shelia Knight, Augustus Satchell, Jr., Regina Harris and Stephane Floyd. 10 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.

A funeral service for Joyce will be held Wednesday, April 30, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 Southeast Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Wake Memorial Park, 7002 Green Hope School Rd, Cary, NC 27519.
