She was born July 11, 1928 in Green Cove Springs, FL a daughter of Robert R. and Lillian Platt Gray. She married James E. Clark. He preceded her in death in 1995.
Surviving are her daughter, Judy Leonard; grandchildren, Ken (and wife, Nicole) Leonard and Will (and wife, Lauren) Leonard; great-grandchildren, Adam, Haley, Jackson, Samuel, and Franklin; her sister, Ginger Hake; and her niece and caregiver, Sandra Moody.
Mrs. Clark and her husband were the past owners and operators of Smith Exterminating Company.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Raleigh Memorial Park in Raleigh. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2016 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary.
