June Brendell Williams

She was born April 7, 1931 in Utica, NY a daughter of Walter and Leota Orvis Brendell.

Surviving are her daughters, Betsy (and husband, William) Rogowski of Frankfort, NY, and Claire (and husband, James) Hanes of Cary, NC; grandchildren, Allison Kovacs (and husband, Will), Eric Rogowski, Bradley (and wife, Ashley) Hanes, Christine (and boyfriend, Vince) Hanes and Bethany Polich; and great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Connor Polich.

June grew up in the “Cornhill” area of Utica and always considered that her home. She was the youngest of three sisters (Virginia and Norma).

June loved all things Abraham Lincoln, classic movies, lighthouses, her dogs, her rowboat, and she delighted in her grand-children and great-grands.

She spent her last years in North Carolina where she thrived and enjoyed many wonderful friends.

A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary Friday, March 11, 2016. Visitation will follow the service.

A memorial service will be held at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Utica, NY at the convenience of the family. Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary, NC is assisting the family with arrangements.
