June Lee Munich Woodcock

June Lee Woodcock, 75, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 10, 2011 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was born to the late Edward and Muriel (Moran) Munich on June 3, 1936 on Long Island, NY. June lived most of her life in Baldwin and East Marion on Long Island. She moved to Cary, NC 3 years ago to be closer to her beloved children.

June is survived by her husband of 55 years, Norman Woodcock of Cary, NC; daughters, Donna Marino and husband Bob of Cary, NC, Linda Cline and husband Daniel of Charleston, SC, Laura Finch and husband Dan of Raleigh, NC, Scott Woodcock and wife Michelle of Bluffton, SC; 6 grandsons, Andy, Paul and Chris Marino, Alec and Nick Poulin and Ryan Finch; sister, Nancy DiFrancisca of Clearwater, FL and brother, Edward Munich Jr. of Long Island, NY.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Rd, Cary, NC.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service with a reception.

The Woodcock family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Hospice of Wake County, Duke Cancer Clinic, Dr. Dunphy, Dr. Kelsey, Ben Weast, and the congregation of Northwest Community Church for the care they extended to June during her cancer journey.
