Born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, Kathy moved with her husband and daughters to North Carolina in 1985, where she built a life centered around her family and faith. Though she embraced her years in North Carolina, she always considered Pittsburgh home.
Kathy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald Naspinski; her parents, Thomas and Marcella Bulischeck; her sister, Cheryl Morgan; and her brother, Steve Bulischeck.
She is survived by her daughters, Danielle (Robert) Stallings of Charlotte, NC, and Christine (Ed) Ronan of Purcellville, VA. She was a devoted and proud grandmother to Ava, Holden, and Tucker Stallings, and Gunnar and Brody Ronan, whom she adored beyond measure. She is also survived by numerous cousins, other family members, and close friends.
Kathy retired from the Wake County School System after 25 years of dedicated service as an educator. She was known for her strong will and deep loyalty to those she loved. She found joy in growing beautiful flower gardens, listening to Motown music, caring for animals—especially rescue dogs—and, most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.
Her family is deeply grateful for the compassionate hospice staff who provided comfort and dignity in her final days.
A Mass will be celebrated on March 6, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Church in Cary.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Humane Society of Charlotte or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
