Kirk Mosher Jesse

He was born in Newburgh, New York on September 24th, 1955 to William and Helen Antoinette Jesse. His parents and older brother, Paul Jesse, preceded him in death. He graduated from Newburgh Free Academy High School and later pursued his love for the sign business through various trade colleges, and was also a licensed real estate agent. He married Pami Lynn Berlin on June 30th, 1984 and they were blessed with three beautiful children.

Kirk is survived by Pami Jesse, his three children, Megan, Ryan, and Heather Jesse as well as his son in law who he claimed as his own son, Bryce Kain. He also held a distinct love for animals and cherished his furry son, Nolan, and his furry granddaughter, Mia.

Kirk was a avid music lover and had a broad depth of knowledge of classic rock. He adored his collection of guitars and passed on his admiration for music to his children. Even in his final moments, Pink Floyd, Jimmy Hendrix, the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, and many other of his favorite artists played in the background. He also found enjoyment and a sense of peace in fishing and would take his kids to Lochmere Lake close to their home in Cary. He was an entrepreneur and owned his own sign business and held a great sense of pride in his work. He frequently talked about all of the jobs he performed for businesses such as School Kids Records, Buddha's Belly, and many more. He held a part-time job in the Electrical and Hardware Departments at Home Depot and always talked about the impact that his "Depot Family" had on him where he formed numerous friendships. He loved old school cars and often reminisced of his old GTO and others. However, most of all, he lived and breathed for his children. He cherished every moment he had with them and enjoyed going to a weekly "Taco Tuesday" dinner at Torreros. There is nothing else that brought him more joy than his kids. They were the reason for his being and he was the pinnacle of what a great father looked like. He would have done anything for them and he was deeply proud of each and every one of them and their accomplishments.

Kirk touched the lives of many and was a gentle, compassionate, and caring man with a big heart. He would do anything for anyone in their time of need and always had a smile on his face. Kirk faced many uphill battles throughout his life including a 30-ft fall through a shopping mall and 3 unique bouts of cancer. However, despite all the odds that were stacked against him and the challenges he faced, he overcame every obstacle through the strength and support that he received from his friends and family. Kirk will be sorely missed, but his legacy will be carried on through his three children. Although Kirk left us at an early age, the family finds a sense of comfort in the fact that he is now reunited with his close friends and family that passed before him. He was an outstanding father, a fighter, an individual to look up to, and a dear friend to many.

A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, March 23rd, 2019 at the Browne-Wynne Funeral home, located at 200 SE Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511. The family will receive visitors starting at 4:00pm up until 7:00pm and will make their eulogies around 6:30pm.
