Lois retired, after 42 years of service, as a civil servant from the NC National Guard. She was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church, in Raleigh.
She was preceded in death, by her husband of 49 years, Gilmer W. Williams in 1999. She is survived by her son, Rex W. Williams and her grandson, Adam W. Williams.
A graveside service will be held, Friday, January 4, 2013, at 11:00 am, at Mount Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery, 15772 NC 50 North, Garner NC 27529.
