Marilyn received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona and her master’s degree from Meredith College. She was a longtime teacher and administrator with Wake County Public Schools. She was a parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church where she was a member of the choir.
She is survived by her 3 daughters, Lynn Sykes, Laurie Madesian and Marieanne Casseday; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Bruce Beezer.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Brown Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511 with a prayer service at 7:30 pm. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am Friday, August 30, 2019 St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 804 High House Road, Cary, NC 27513. Interment will be private.
