Marilyn Chabot

Marilyn Ann Chabot was born on July 14, 1932 in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts to Anthony Richard Marzelli and Emma Fallon. She died peacefully in her sleep in Accord, NY at the age of 90. Her beloved husband, John R. Chabot preceded her in death.

Her three children, Mark Chabot of Senoia, GA, Lisa Schoonmaker of Accord N.Y., and Leslie Chabot of Sanford, N.C. survive her. She was very proud of her three grandsons, Darryl and Ryan Schoonmaker of Accord, N.Y. and Daniel Chabot of Senoia, G.A. and her four great grandchildren; Mila, Jack, Charlotte, and Lucy.

Marilyn was Valedictorian of her Howard High School class as well as the captain of her undefeated basketball team. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the nursing program at Boston General Hospital. She spent her life caring for her patients, her family, and her friends. Intelligent, fun loving, and witty, Marilyn was known for hosting a cookie party in December and numerous pool parties at the family home in Cary. She always loved basketball, especially the Duke Blue Devils, and her cats, Siamese and otherwise.

A memorial service will be held at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 Southeast Maynard Road, Cary, North Carolina on July 26th at 1:00 Pm.
