He is survived by brothers, Ronnie and wife, Mary, of Venice, FL and Mike and wife, Sheila, of Chesapeake, VA; stepbrother, Mitch Barnes and wife, Dana, of MO; stepson, Chris Peoples and wife, Jodi, of Louisburg, NC. He had 3 grandchildren which he loved dearly, and 5 nephews.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
