Martha “Marty” McGrane was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world suddenly on January 18, 2024, at age 72. She was born to Peter and Jessie Rogers on October 1, 1951 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada.
After graduating from high school, she attended Union College in Cranford, NJ and later graduated from Montclair State University. Marty later met her husband, James Michael McGrane, to which she was married for 34 years until his death in 2007.
She is survived by her brother Dave Rogers (70); her two sons, Kevin James McGrane (46) and Andrew Peter McGrane (42); daughter-in-law, Amanda Michelle McGrane (39); and three grandchildren, Ryan James McGrane (11), Samantha Rose McGrane (10), and Myles Stephen McGrane (6).
Marty enjoyed working as the owner of Allen Funks Wallpaper located in Raleigh, NC. She was loved and appreciated by her customers, vendors, installers and staff.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on February 2, 2024 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Rd, Cary.
