Mary Catherine Beck Estes

Mary was born September 24, 1946 in County Dublin, Ireland to the late Joseph Beck and Catherine Powers Beck. She was predeceased by her daughter Susan Fagan and by her sister Rita Corrigan. She is survived by her husband Bob, daughter Rachel Fagan Dail and husband Greg of Garner, son Robert Fagan of the home, and the treasure of her life, grandson Kieran Alain Dail. Also left to cherish her memory are brother Tom Beck and wife Peggy, and brother Joe Beck, all of Dublin, Ireland; parents-in-law Bob and Barbara Estes of Apex, sisters-in-law Gail Lessin of Cary and Cheryl Thomson of Raleigh and their families; special friend Anna Smith; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends in Ireland and in the USA.

Mary was a beautiful person who brought joy to everyone who knew her. She made friends easily, and always had a special place in her heart for animals and for those who were less fortunate. Mary was happiest at the beach, reading murder mysteries, and most of all, when with her precious grandson.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 pm Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Brown Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Rd. Cary. A memorial service will begin at 7:30 pm in the Chapel of Brown Wynne Funeral Home.
