Patrick Samuel Barefoot

He graduated from Athens Drive High School, where he first met his wife, Ashley. He then went on to graduate from NC State University. 

Patrick left us far too soon; the impact he left on his friends and family will be felt forever. He will be remembered for his kindness, humor, smile, and unwavering loyalty to his family and friends. His passion for fishing, hunting and football were shared with his father, best friends, and stepson Jack. He always made time for his family, and shared a special bond with his sister, Meghan. He loved Ashley with his entire heart and was devoted to her and their amazing family. His legacy and memory will be forever carried on by Addison’s identical smile to her daddy and Jack’s dedication to being a true outdoorsman just like Pat. 

Pat’s loving spirit is carried on by his wife, Ashley; their children Jack (11) and Addison (1.5); his parents, James, and Karen Barefoot, his sister, Meghan Barefoot, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

To honor Patrick’s memory, a service will be held at White Plains United Methodist Church, Cary, on Saturday June 28, 2025, at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Jack and Addisons college funds in his memory.
