Philomena was a nurse for 26 years at Queen Mary Hospital in Hong Kong and eventually worked her way up to becoming a Nursing Officer.

In 1985, Philomena and her family relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina where she held various roles in the medical field prior to becoming a Surgical Technician at Rex Hospital for 22 years.
Philomena was passionate about her nursing and surgical technician careers and often helped many by sharing her medical knowledge.
In her spare time, Philomena enjoyed crocheting, floral arrangement, playing the organ, and spending time with family and friends. She was an active member of the Raleigh Chinese Christian Church serving as a Caring Team Committee Member and helping with Children Sunday School.
Philomena was always smiling, full of life, everyone's best friend, and quick to offer help to anyone in need.
