

Phyllis Ann Manor Lang, 86, Cary, N.C., formerly of Xenia, Ohio died Monday, April 30, 2018. She was born in Xenia, February 29, 1932. She and her family have resided in Cary, NC for the last 53 years. She retired from the Environmental Protection Agency Research Triangle Park, after more than 30 years of service.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Phyllis Lang, Jay and Shelia Lang all of Cary, and Alex and Miriam Lang of Raleigh, NC; daughter and son-in-law, Debra Lang-Stephenson and Bruce Stephenson of Cary; and grandchildren, Jeannene Lang, Michael Lang, Morgan Lang, Taylor Lang, Chelsea Lang and Nikki Stephenson Sewell.
Phyllis is the daughter of Harry Dean and Lila May Kildow Manor. She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Lang, her parents and by four brothers, Noel Dean Manor, Harry Ronald Manor, Charles Junior Manor and Neal D. Manor, by two sisters, Elizabeth Eloise (Manor) Hatfield, and Dorothy Jean (Manor) Duncan.
The family would like to thank the loving kindness of all the staff at Woodland Terrace in Cary for the care that Phyllis received there her last several years.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Road, Cary, NC. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Grey Muzzle Organization (www.greymuzzle.org).
