

Samuel de la Rosa Marte, born on October 8, 1942, joined his Creator on December 10, 2022 surrounded by his loving wife Ma. Luisa Lacson Marte and beloved children Jonas, Joan, and Jason Marte. Samuel was predeceased by his father, Isidro Tayco Marte, his mother, Paz de la Rosa Marte; his siblings Milagros D. Marte, Rudy D, Marte, and Lolita D Marte; survived by his sister, Alicia D. Marte and brother, George D. Marte.
Samuel graduated from University of the East in Manila, Philippines. Soon after, he started his career at a law firm and then, pursued a profession in agriculture as a businessman where he succeeded while building a life with his wife and grew a family together in Panay Island, Philippines. Samuel transitioned to NC, USA with his family as he proceeded with his retirement.
Samuel may be recognized as a man who spent his joyful hours going to church, cooking and spending quality time with family, or in the fish farm.
Samuel was a faithful husband, selfless and loving father, and a helping hand to many through his younger years. He has touched the hearts of many by his kindness and one who will forever be remembered by his caring heart, putting others before himself until his final days.
To celebrate Samuel’s life and his marriage with God, we will be holding a visitation for Samuel will be held Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 Southeast Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511. A funeral mass will occur Friday, December 16, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 804 High House Rd, Cary, NC 27513. The family will receive friends and loved ones at a catered reception at the funeral home following the mass at 200 Southeast Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511
