Scott was an extraordinary husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. After years of unwavering optimism in the face of a rare heart disease, he passed away at the age of 65 and now walks with our Lord.
Born to Albert Fyans (deceased) and Margaret Shoesmith Fyans of Greer, SC, Scott was deeply rooted in family. He was preceded in death by his older brother, Keith. He is survived by his brother, Bob Fyans, and his sister, Ada Fyans Wallace; her husband, Bill; and their daughters, Grace and Faith, all of Greer.
Scott most recently lived in Morrisville, NC with his wife of 33 years, Anne Skey Fyans. Together they raised three daughters: Ivy Fyans of Lenoir, NC; Paige Fyans Iddings of Cary, NC, along with her husband, Aaron, and their son, Jackson; and Christina Johnson of Greer, SC, with her husband, Jason, their daughter, Kinedie, and son, Jeremiah.
Scott retired several years ago from The Schaeffler Group, where he served as Lead Mechanical Engineer. Friends and colleagues remember him as an eternal optimist who loved to share how richly the Lord had blessed his life.
He will be deeply missed but never forgotten."
