Shardaben was born July 31, 1932 in Kisumu, Kenya. In 1973, she moved with her family to Greenville, SC, and in 2007, she settled in Cary, NC
She was preceded in death by her husband, Laljee Devji Kotecha.
She is survived by her four children, Rajan Kotecha (and his wife, Roshni) of Cary, NC; Avinash Kotecha of Charlotte, NC; Nalini Adatia (and her husband, Navin) of Arcadia, CA; and Mina Rajani (and her husband Suresh) of Leicester, England. Shardaben is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great grandson.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 300 St. Mary’s Street, Raleigh, NC 27605.
