Sherri Paige Baird

Sherri worked for Nortel from 1981 until 1990 and was the co-founder and president of Wolfpackaging Industries, Inc.

Sherri's faith and love for her family and friends gave her strength in times of need. Her welcoming smile revealed her steadfast faith in human goodness. Her bright eyes reflected her love of life and the wonders of nature. She will be remembered for her determination in the face of adversity, her love for her family and her loyalty to her friends.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry C. Baird, mother Iris Pendergrass, and her brother, James K. Pendergrass, Jr., her loving Sheltie, Ginni and her two special caretakers Pam Baker of Fuquay-Varina, NC and Christina Laskowski of Myrtle Beach, SC.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 pm at Greenwood Forest Baptist Church in Cary, NC. The family will receive friends from 1 pm to 3 pm in the church fellowship hall. Burial will be held in the Wake Chapel Cemetery in Fuquay-Varina, NC following the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Greenwood Forest Baptist Church or to the charity of one's choice.
