Tammie Hill Bates, 48, of Cary, NC died September 27, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a native of Columbus County, NC and the daughter of Raymond Hill of Wilmington, NC and Ortha Nobles Prince Of Whiteville, NC.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Ralph; three sons, Alan of Four Oaks, NC, Micheal of New Bern, NC and James of Cary, NC; three brothers, Ray Hill of Sumter, SC, Alex Noble of Durham, NC and Mark Prince of New Orleans, LA; sister, Stephanie Cox of Chadbourn, NC; grandmother, Irene Nobles of Whiteville, NC; and 6 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.
A memorial service will be held on October 7, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Faith Baptist Church, 4262 Rough and Ready Road, Chadbourn, NC.
Family will receive friends at the home of Robin and Stephanie Cox at 12100 Peacock Road, Chadbourn, NC.
