Timothy Dean Flory

Tim graduated from Apex High School in Apex, NC, in 1991. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC, in 1997, where he was a proud member of the Delta Chi fraternity. Tim enjoyed all facets of art, especially sculpture and pottery, and physical and digital design. Tim was also a fan of all things science fiction and of making his nephew and niece laugh hysterically.

Tim was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather and grandmother, Hugh McAden Wells and Louise Helen Hunter Wells, and his fraternal grandfather and grandmother, Joseph Donald Flory and Lola Mary Hoover Flory.

He is survived by his father, Joseph Roland Flory, his mother, Connie Wells Flory, of Cary, his brother, Joseph Daniel Flory, sister-in-law Caroline Eve Hinson Flory, nephew Peter Dean Flory, and niece Grace Rosalynn Flory, all of Apex.

Tim is also survived by half-brothers Wesley Marlin Flory, Halstead, KS, and Kurt Duane Flory, Baltimore, MD, and half-sisters Cynthia Jolene Barnes, Valley Center, KS, and Debra Jeanene Koerner, Newton, KS.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home 200 SE Maynard Rd., Cary from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday, August 5th, 2017, the family would like folks to dress casual. A brief graveside service will follow at Rockfish Memorial Cemetery in Wallace, NC.
