Tom was born on March 4, 1937 in Little Rock, Ark. He was a graduate of Henderson College, and received his masters at the University of Arkansas. He worked and retired from the EPA after 30 years of service.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Kathryn A. Williams, sons Mark and David, and daughter Janet, grandsons Derek and Tyler, and granddaughter Emily, brothers Fred and wife Nina of Maumelle, Ark., and Larry and wife Marilyn of Conway, Ark.
Memorial service will be held Thursday, October 3 at 11:00 am at Apex United Methodist Church, 100 South Hughes Street, Apex, NC. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
