Victor Bryan Mills

He was the son of the late Victor Davis Mills and Nellie Rebecca (Bryan) Bordeaux. He was born on March 17th, 1953 in Raleigh, NC. He attended Cary High School and later on went to work in Highway Road Construction where he served over 40 years and retired as a Foreman from Fred Smith Company.

Victor is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Donna Marie (Hammer) Mills, his brother, Joseph Gold Williams of Raleigh, his sister, Becky Mills McFadyen of Apex, and her daughters, Kristin McFadyen Livolsi (Tom) and Meghan McFadyen Yovich (Dan), and their children, Tyler & Tanner Peptis and Addilyn Yovich, and his extended family, cousins, nieces and nephews of several generations.

He is also survived by his brother-in law, Allen Hammer (Ruth Anne); sister-in-law, Jean Hammer Brannan (Clyde); niece Kelly Burton (Dennis) and their children; nephew Pat Dalyrmple (Dawn) and their children; niece, Christie Hammer Wright (Ryan) and their children; nephew, Paul Hammer (Laura) and their children; niece, Colleen Shepherd and her daughter; nephew, Tom Brannan (Julie) and their children; and nephew, Scott Brannan (Liz) and their children.

Victor was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Davis Mills.

He was known for his love of landscaping in the yard and his wonderful time spent in Emerald Isle with his beach family. He & Donna enjoyed traveling the Caribbean together through the years. An animal lover, one of his favorite things was to hug & snuggle on his pups, Gracie and Ginger. Special thanks to Dr. Arvind Jariwala for the excellent care he provided over the years.

Victor was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle, neighbor, and dear friend to many. Those who knew him, loved him and he will be greatly missed by all.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Victor on Friday, May 24th, 2024 at 2:00 PM with a reception & receiving of friends to follow at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 S.E. Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511.
