

Alfred Charles Stevens, a loyal, kind-hearted, and generous individual, passed away on February 5, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on May 31, 1941, to Robert and Pauline (Dick) Stevens in Lima, Ohio, Alfred, affectionately known as Al, lived a life full of adventure and faithfulness.
Al dedicated 22 years to the United States Air Force, retiring as a veteran who served with distinction from August 13, 1959, to September 30, 1981. His primary military occupation was Air Operations Superintendent, Ground Radio Operations Superintendent, and Comm Systems Operator. After retiring from the Air Force, Al continued his career as a Security Manager for Space Data and Intel.
A devoted husband to his beloved wife, Trish, Al was active in the lives of his dear nieces and nephews. He was a steady, loving influence and an important figure for his grandchildren, who could always rely on him for advice, reassurance, or simply a familiar voice. His unwavering support and belief in them helped shape who they are today.
Al is survived by his wife Trish, children Eric Stevens and Gail Green, and siblings Karoline Bishop of Midland, MI, James Stevens of Casa Grande, AZ, and Linda Connor of Kokomo, IN. He leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Chelsea Green of San Clemente, CA, Danielle Green of Phoenix, AZ, Anna Stevens, and Sam Stevens, both of Charlotte, NC. Al was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Louis Stevens and Pauline Mable Dick-Stevens, brother Robert, sister Marjorie, brother Thomas, and daughter-in-law Susan.
In his personal life, Al enjoyed camping with his brother Jim and was an avid Arizona Cardinals fan. He supported his granddaughters' soccer journeys and kept in touch regularly with his grandchildren in North Carolina, sharing the adventures of their everyday lives. Al loved watching SportsCenter, solving Sudoku puzzles, and reading. He also took up painting, becoming quite accomplished, and enjoyed building birdhouses and engaging in outdoor plants and landscape design.
Alfred Charles Stevens will be remembered as a beloved and faithful individual who touched the lives of many with his kindness and generosity.
