A celebration of Carol’s life will be held on two occasions:

September 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM in Redmond, Oregon, joined with her nephew, David Hargous
Carol’s passions brought joy to everyone around her. She was an avid collector of dolls and Elvis memorabilia. She was also a devoted fan of classic television shows, including I Love Lucy, Leave It to Beaver, and Three’s Company. More recently, she enjoyed a new television series, Reba. Her favorite movies included Pillow Talk and anything starring John Travolta, while Elvis Presley’s music always held a special place in her heart.
She loved playing games like Yahtzee and Monopoly at home, and her collection of cookbooks was a testament to her love for food, cooking, and family. She loved cooking with her Grandson, Coty, so much that they created a cookbook together.
Even in her later years, Carol remained active, enjoying walks and playfully chasing after her grandchildren. She also loved to travel, with favorite vacation spots including the Grand Canyon and Mt. Loma Falls. She also enjoyed theme parks with her children and grandchildren, including Magic Mountain (Six Flags), Universal Studios, and Disneyland. Locals will remember her fondly from places like Avery’s Rib House. In her younger years, she could often be found hanging out with Tom (spouse) at Bob’s Big Boy and the Smoke House.
Carol was a woman of deep compassion, supporting organizations such as St. Jude’s and Shriners for Children, reflecting her generosity and selflessness.
Carol was often described as the sweetest person anyone could know. Her warmth, loyalty, and generosity were unmatched. Her biggest lesson in life to us all was to live with love in our hearts, laughter in our souls, and to live life to the fullest. Her radiant smile, loving spirit, and compassionate nature will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
Though Carol has left this world, her memory will continue to inspire and uplift all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her love, laughter, and kindness will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
