She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 23, 1949, to Jerald and Mary Japp. She attended and graduated from Custer High School in 1967. She married her first love and high school sweetheart Glenn Klimek September 21, 1968. Thus
began a lifetime of many fulfilled dreams and adventures for the both of them, a lifetime of love, celebrated and treasured by those who love them. Linda’s love and
purpose went into her various roles as wife to Glenn, Mom to daughters Lisa, Heather, Rebecca,Nana to nine grandchildren, Great Nana to 8 great grandchildren, as well as Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Friend and Co-Worker. She nurtured and cared for her family selflessly and often spoke to others with joy and pride in her three beautiful daughters. She was a woman of faith and introduced her Savior to many throughout her lifetime in her thoughtful words, letters and cards. How many hearts were encouraged by her cards, letters and pieces of gum that were received faithfully each year? After her children were grown, she worked several different jobs, housecleaning, housekeeping in a hotel, Preschool aide,
custodial work in a high school and in retail at the mall. Glenn and Linda were blessed to live in many different states (Tennessee, Wisconsin, Arizona) and in England for three years. While in England they traveled to several different countries and had many adventures. She was adventurous and fearless even kissing the Blarney Stone in Ireland. They enjoyed several cruises and road trips
with their RV. A gifted storyteller, she would often recount with detail her experiences with humor and her impressions often leaving the hearer laughing and enjoying her perspective.
