

Norman Ray Poole, born on December, 14th, 1945 passed away on Jan. 30th, 2026. He dedicated his life to service and community involvement, leaving a significant impact on those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Norman's military career was marked by his brave service as an Army Airborne Ranger in Vietnam, where he earned the rank of captain over a commendable span of 11 years. His commitment to his country remained a vital part of his identity throughout his life.
An alumnus of Ohio State University and Akron University, Norman further distinguished himself through various community roles. He actively contributed to the Chamber of Commerce in Casa Grande and was a proud member of the Military Officers Association of America. His interest in serving the community paralleled his hobbies, which included photography and travel, reflecting his passion for both capturing moments and exploring the world.
Norman is survived by his loving spouse, Sandra (Sam) Poole, and his brother, Kenneth W. Poole. He cherished the camaraderie of many coffee buddies, who will undoubtedly miss his warm presence and engaging conversations.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Leila Poole, and his father, Kenneth Poole. Norman's legacy of dedication to service, family, and community will remain in the hearts of those who knew him. His memory will continue to inspire future generations to serve with the same passion and commitment that defined his life.
