Born in Monticello, Iowa January 14, 1944 to Frederick and Rosetta Gogel. Went to both Catholic and Public schools till 9th grade. Went to the Army and received the National defence service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Campaign Service Medal and Good Conduct Service Medal. 29 years of service to Honeywell Engines Manufacturing where he engineered Airplane engine parts.
He enjoyed family gatherings, going on long drives, and woodworking and wood carving.
He was survived by Sister Joyce Gogel, Sister Darlene Gogel Zienkiewicz her husband Tom Zienkiewicz, brother Gilbert Gogel, his wife Ann Gogel, their sons Michael Gogel, and Chad Gogel his wife Natalie, daughters Amber and Eliana

Vigil Service will be held at J. Warren Funeral Home 525 N. Peart Road Casa Grande, AZ 85122 Thursday March 19th 2pm to 4pm
Funeral will be held at National Cemetery 2929 E. Pinnacle Peak Rd Phoenix, AZ 85024 Friday March 20th 10am.
