Robert “Rob” Mathew Gay passed away at home peacefully, in his sleep surrounded by his loved ones, early Monday morning, February 16, 2026 at the age of 58.
Rob was born August 4th, 1967 in Phoenix, Arizona to Roy and Barbara Gay. He graduated from Payson High where he later meet his beloved wife Michelle Gay. Rob and Michelle shared 34 wonderful years together. Rob often saying Forever Us to represent their unique and forever lasting bond with each other. Rob grew up in construction with life long friend Mike Amon and continued his passion in finish carpentry for over 30 years.
Rob cherished his time spent with his family, as well as playing videos, coaching his children, and golfing with his friends.
Rob is survived by his wife Michelle, daughter Rachelle and partner Kyle, son Brice and partner Catherine, son Dyson, daughter Reann, and daughter from a prior relationship, Cherie. He is also survived by his sister Wendy, brother in law Dan, parents-in law Bill and Sharon, brother in law Rich, sister in law Dawn, nieces Kaiti and Lexi, nephew Jacob and his family; Melanie, Jaden, Mikaela, and Gerardo.
Celebration of his life will be confirmed for a later date at the end of April.
