Samuel Ledezma, 29, a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and cherished friend, passed away on August 29, 2025. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona, on March 28, 1996, and graduated from Casa Grande Union High School in 2015, where he played football and created many unforgettable memories with his teammates and friends. In 2013, Samuel met his high school sweetheart, Elijah Ledezma, and the two married on July 21, 2015. Together, they built a strong and loving marriage of ten years and a beautiful family that became Samuel’s greatest joy. In February 2015, Samuel proudly chose to serve his country by joining the Army, where he dedicated ten years of honorable service as a respected and committed soldier. Outside of his military career, Samuel also took great pride in the business he built with his brother, Adam Ledezma — Ledezma’s Hardscape LLC.
Samuel is survived by his loving wife, Elijah Ledezma, and their three daughters, ages 7, 6, and 3, with a baby on the way. Above all his accomplishments, Samuel’s favorite role was being a father. He treasured every moment with his children, embracing family life with love and devotion. He also leaves behind his father, Fernando Ledezma, and his mother, Maria Guadalupe Ledezma, along with his siblings, Miguel Sandoval, Jr. Ledezma, Sergio Sandoval, Marcos Ledezma, Adam Ledezma, Tony Sandoval, Daniel Ledezma, and Valerie Ledezma. He will also be deeply missed by his Nana, Delfina Ledezma, and a large extended family who loved and admired him dearly. Samuel was preceded in death by his Pampa, Ramon Ledezma.
Although Samuel’s life ended far too soon, he truly lived each day to the fullest. His smile, his laughter, and his ability to brighten any room will never be forgotten. Samuel was honorable, humble, and deeply loving — always genuine in everything he did. Whether as a husband, father, son, brother, soldier, leader, or friend, he carried each role with unwavering pride and devotion. To honor him, we ask that his stories continue to be told, his laughter remembered, and his love carried forward. Please keep Samuel and our family in your hearts and prayers as we celebrate the incredible man he was.
