Born on July 26, 1945, Bill lived a life defined by faith, family, and friendship. He shared 55 wonderful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Mary Lou Dering, who stood by his side through every chapter of life. Together, they raised three children: Tagan Dering (Kayla), Damian Dering (Elizabeth), and Sara Dering, and welcomed daughters-in-law Kayla Shipp and Elizabeth Dering into the family. His greatest joy was being “Babull” to Isabella, Maxwell, Sofia, and Theodore, who brought him endless pride and joy.
Bill is also survived by his sisters Patricia Camp, Judy Stump, and Mary Lou McMillin, who cherished his warmth and humor.
A man of deep faith, Bill was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus and a devoted parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua. His commitment to service and community reflected his belief in living with kindness and generosity.
Those who knew Bill will remember his quick wit, endless supply of dad jokes, and his genuine love for connecting with people. He had a gift for making everyone feel welcome, and his laughter and warmth will be dearly missed.
Bill’s legacy lives on in the love he gave, the faith he practiced, and the joy he spread to all who crossed his path.”
