Amy Lynn Acker

July 2, 1986 – April 5, 2016

Amy Lynn Acker, 29, of Castle Rock Colorado, passed away Tuesday April 5, 2016 at home with her parents by her side. She was born on July 2, 1986 in Englewood CO to Steve and Jeanie Acker. Amy was raised in Castle Rock where she attended and graduated from Douglas County Schools. She was baptized in the Centennial park swimming pool at 11 years of age. Amy enjoyed scrapbooking, card making, reading, puzzles, coloring, painting ceramics, music and movies. She also loved laughter, roses, butterflies and horses. She loved being around family and friends. She is survived by her parents, brother Jake of Castle Rock CO, sister Stephanie (Justus) Newman of Castle Rock CO, twin sister Brooke (Tristen) Burnham of Grand Junction CO, and one niece Emerson Bayless of Castle Rock CO. She is also survived by her grandparents, Bob Croissant of Castle Rock, CO, Bernie and Kay Acker of Castle Rock, CO. and numerous family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Pat Croissant, and Aunt Liz Southall.
