Born on October 25,1971 to Michele (Director) and Valentine Liberski, Corey grew up in Muskego, Wisconsin and later moved to Miramar, Florida. He graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Communications.
Corey worked as a Sr. Principle Value Engineer for BMC Software for the last 7 years. His other interests included volleyball, ping pong, riding motorcycles, eating sushi, and singing. However, his greatest passion was his family.
Corey was married to Lisa on April 27, 1997 and together raised their four children: Sage, Killian, Kyra, and Evan in South Florida and then Parker, Colorado. He genuinely loved and cherished his wife and children, who made him extremely proud. His compassionate and fun-seeking spirit lives on in them all.
Once the children were grown, Corey turned his free time and energy to focus on pursuing his dreams. He began frequenting local Parker establishments where he quickly found friends and live music. When karaoke wasn’t enough for him, Corey collaborated with other local musicians and formed a classic rock cover band, appropriately named Blaze of Corey (later Blaze Colorado), where he was able to share not only his powerful vocals, but also his lively personality. He loved being on stage, but most of all, he loved the community that embraced him.
Corey had an infectious sense of humor and always lit up a room when he entered. Anyone who captured a photo of him would certainly have one with him pointing his signature finger guns at the camera. He was also always giving, whether it was love for his family and friends, or a hand fixing something, or financial assistance, or just a piece of himself to get a laugh. Corey was an amazing listener and was often sought out for useful advice, whether on relationships, paths to success, or even how to fix a home improvement issue. His personality brought warmth and joy to everyone he encountered and his passing will be mourned deeply by everyone who knew and loved him. His legacy will live on for generations to come, inspiring those around him with his conviviality, generosity, and unforgettable spirit.
Corey will be remembered by his wife of 27 years, Lisa, his children, Sage (Paymun) Dehghani, Killian Liberski, Kyra Liberski, and Evan Liberski, and his grandsons Roman and Graham Dehghani. He will also be remembered by his mother, Michele Decker, his father, Valentine Liberski, his brother Derek (David) Liberski, his sisters, April Liberski, and Autumn (Darin) Brill, cousins, nephew, and nieces.
