Donna grew up in Jacksonville, Fl where she graduated from Terry Parker High School in 1966. She attended Jones College and worked as accounts payable for a Smurfit-Stone Paper Mill.
Donna was a loving mother and strong willed woman. She was a member of the Modern Music Masters, played the piano and enjoyed singing. She loved The Beatles, Paul being her favorite.
Her hobbies included sewing wedding dresses and gifts for others. She had a colorful, feisty personality. Donna loved animals, especially dogs. Above all her family was her pride and joy. She found great joy in spending time with her granddaughter and going to the beach.
Donna is survived by her son Joshua Ray (Stephanie); and her daughter Jessica Ray (Taylor Davis); her brother Clinton Matthew Hughes Jr. (Pamela) and her brother Michael Stephen Hughes; her granddaughter Ruby Kent Ray.
Donna was preceded in death by her father Clinton Matthew Hughes Sr. and her mother Lillie Mae Hughes.
