Harold A. Weippert

Harold A. Weippert passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2013, in Centennial, CO. He was a long time resident of Castle Rock since 1960. He owned and operated Weippert Upholstery since 1963. He volunteered with the American Legion Honor Guard serving over 1000 hours. He enjoyed hunting, old movies, polka music and talking with people. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret; two children, Carolyn Clingman (Mark) and Daniel Weippert; and 4 grandchildren, Erik Weippert, Jacki Weippert, Matthew Weippert and Chase Clingman. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 am, on 1/26/2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 4740 N. State Highway 83 in Franktown, CO 80116. Inurnment will take place at Ft. Logan National cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Harold’s name to The American Legion Honor Guard (Castle Rock Branch) and remit to: Dale Erickson, 2380 N State Hwy 67, Sedalia, CO 80135-9216 or The Johnson Center, Christian Living Communities Stewardship Fund and remit to: Christian Living Communities, Att. Directions for Fort Logan: Enter the North Gate (Funeral Entrance) and proceed to the Dignity Van, it will be parked on the corner of Denver Drive and Logan Blvd. Park behind the dignity van in line for procession and you will be led to your staging area.
