Heather Dawn Heintz 48, of Castle Rock Colorado, beloved mother, wife and daughter passed away, April 18th, 2024 surrounded by family and friends. She loved life, family, friends and fought courageously to stay by their side.
She was born in Houston, TX on June 23, 1975. Heather was a graduate of Broomfield High School who went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in theater from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master of Education Degree from Regis University. Heather served many years as an elementary school educator. She was dedicated to her students in the classroom and through the pandemic. She also enjoyed success as an Account Executive and was well regarded by her colleagues, even receiving the Rookie of the Year Award at her company sales conference.
On June 7th, 1997, Heather married her high school and college sweetheart Brett Heintz in Boulder Colorado and soon welcomed into the world their daughter, Autumn Violet and son Braden Edward.
Heather was a devoted mother, generous with her love and time. She found great joy in spending time with her children. She loved listening to her son sing and play guitar and was so proud of her daughter’s artistic and academic talents. Heather's home was a gathering place for friends and family. She spent many weekends hosting barbecues and holiday parties. Heather loved to be outside in nature, hiking, paddle boarding, biking, swimming, challenging her Kids to a ski race, attending music festivals and her kids’ sporting events.
Heather was also a huge fan of music. She was happy spending time with family and friends at concerts and festivals. Heather had a contagious smile and always made sure those around her were laughing with her and having a good time.
Heather will be dearly missed and is survived by her husband Brett Heintz, Daughter Autumn Heintz, son Braden Heintz, brother Nathan Schulz and mother Sharon and father David Schulz.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 11th, 2024, at 2PM at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, 12099 Lowell Blvd, Broomfield, CO 80020. Reception following the services at the church.
