After graduating from Evander Childs High School in the Bronx, he went on to get a Bachelor’s Degree in History. He served in the US Army as a Military Police Officer and was Honorably Discharged. After his service, he went onto work in the New York Passport Office, then as a court bailiff before moving to California, where he worked as a film technician at MGM and Technicolor.
He was a die-hard Yankees fan, avid reader and a fan of crime dramas.
He is survived be his wife, Lauri; his children: Matthew, Brett and Alexis; and one granddaughter: Aileen Jayne. He is also survived by his sister, Monya. He was very loved and will be missed.
His family will be holding a private funeral, and a celebration of life for family and friends will be held on August 2, 2025.
