Jerry Powell Hohler, aged 19, of Castle Rock, CO, passed away unexpectedly on July 27, 2025, due to a motorcycle accident. Though his life was cut short, his impact on those who knew him will be felt for years to come.
He was born in Denver, Colorado on March 26, 2006. Jerry was still contemplating life and figuring things out which included completing High School and continuing on to greater things ahead of him.
With a quick wit and infectious humor, Jerry brought laughter and joy to all around him. His creativity and artistic side shone through in everything he did, and his kind heart led him to be generous with his time and energy.
A devoted animal lover, Jerry had a special place in his heart for all creatures. He was also an avid gamer, loved cooking, fishing and being outdoors and of course had a newfound passion for his motorcycle which took him to new and exciting places. While he struggled in these last couple of years, we know he enjoyed spending time with family and close friends.
Despite struggling with trauma and mental health issues, Jerry found solace in the freedom of riding his motorcycle. The open road was his sanctuary, and he cherished the moments he spent there.
Jerry is remembered for his resilience, compassion, bright spirit and for being passionate about everything he loved. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents: Jason and Lisa Hohler; grandmother Connie Kramlik; brothers: Andrew, Stephen, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Isaac; sister Jenna; and his aunt Veronica Kramlik. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins that will miss his presence in their young lives.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a mental health organization or animal rescue would be a meaningful way to honor his memory."
