

J.F. was born on December 23, 1921 in Erie, Colorado to Elbert and Bertha (Carr) Stewart. He was one of nine children. J.F. served in the United States Pacific Marine Corp, Pacific Theater WWII.
On May 12, 1951 he married E. Mildred Curtis in Denver, Colorado. They later moved to Sedalia, Colorado. J.F. worked and retired from the DuPont plant in Louviers. J.F. was an active member of St. Philip in the Field Episcopal Church. He loved his family and enjoyed fishing, hunting and telling a story.
J.F. is survived by his wife Mildred of Sedalia, children: Natalie Fay (Michael) Young, Phillip Myles (Wendy) Stewart and Michele Diane Meeker, grandchildren: Travis John Stewart, Jennifer Lee (Joel) Clouse, Dylan Walker (Friend, Merrilee Tobin) Rumney and Ryan Lee Meeker, two great grandchildren: Rachel Madison Clouse and Charles Andrew “Charlie” Clouse, 15 nephews, 9 nieces, many great nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Mass will be held at 12:30 PM Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at St. Philip in the Field Episcopal Church, followed by Public Memorial Services at 1:30 PM. Inurnment will be held at Bear Canon Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in his name to, St. Philip in the Field Episcopal Church, Bear Canon Cemetery or Porter Hospice.
