Dear Janice, Belinda and Jennifer,
My heartfelt sympathy to all of you. Kevin was a kind soul I know he is at peace now. Blessings to all of you.

Kevin (Cotton), my brother KA (Lambda) at SFA, ...  initiated at the end of the 1973 Fall semester. No doubt everyone remembers Kevin, as larger than life, and always could put a smile on your face whenever he came around. Honest, Loyal, Helpful, always there to lend a hand, as Pledge and then Active. I so enjoyed working with him to peel shrimp (400lbs) for our Spring Greek Fest (1975) where we grilled, and sold Dixie-cups full for $1.00. His art of negotiation sold many a cup! I recall also him taking the trophy home against the Omega Psi Phi's in a Pizza Eating contest at Pizza Hut the same year. On a serious note, he was indeed one of our most beloved DK brothers, true to his Friends, and to himself. It was an honor to know you, sir. RIP big guy,

I was Kevin’s pledge trainer and will always remember how funny he was , but would do anything he was asked of to help his pledge class as well as the chapter . He was a hard worker and a pleasure to be around . Diane and I were in Colorado in October and he called and said he didn’t live far from where we were and we got together for dinner and got to meet Janice , had a great time ! You’ll be missed .
   I’ll see you on the other side Cotton , rest easy ! 

I graduated from high school with Kevin & remember him as being one of the nicest guys in the entire class.  At a reunion we had a few years back, I found that he was STILL that same sweet man. I enjoyed his Colorado pictures on Facebook & am happy that he got to experience life in such beautiful surroundings. Rest In peace, dear friend.



I had the privilege of working with Kevin and was able to call him my friend. When we worked a Methanol, DuPont, Beaumont Works we cooked every night. Kevin was sometimes my sous chef. (lol) After he moved to Colorado I got a message from him that he cooked one of my recipes and it was a hit. This really made my day to hear this. I passed along another recipe but don't know if he ever tried it. He loved spicey food, sometimes it looked like he had just got out of the shower with all his clothes on from sweating. 
There was never a dull moment when he was around.  Was hoping to go to Colorado at some point and meet up with him. My prayers are with his family at this time. I'm going to miss our FB chats. RIP my friend.💔😪🙏🙏🙏

RIP loyal KA pledge brother and friend. A life well done Kevin, as you begin your journey into eternity and beyond. All those you've touched are so better off having known you and profited from your kindness and talents. We will surely miss you!

I am so very sorry for your loss. Kevin was always so jolly and an amazing father to his daughters. Jen - I love you, my friend. You guys hang in there. Big hugs, my friends.

Please accept my condolences for the passing of Kevin. We were long time friends, went to school together, and were in Boy Scouts together.
