Mary Margaret MacDonald

Mary Margaret MacDonald was born on June 25, 1967, in Orange, California, to James and Corrine (Scotti) White. She grew up surrounded by family and carried those close connections with her throughout her life. Mary passed away on March 2, 2026 at her home in Castle Rock.

Mary will be remembered for her kind heart, her sense of humor, and the way she cared for the people around her. She valued time with family and her dog, spending time outdoors in her garden, reading, writing, and was a deep hearted Green Bay Packers fan. Those who knew Mary will remember her warmth, generosity, and desire to bring others together to laugh and share life with. Her smile was infectious and her laugh un-mistakable, always lighting up the room. Her care for others was paramount, always there to lend a hand, guide others through difficult time, and give back to so many in the community, serving on the board of Womenade of Castle Rock. Mary’s go-go attitude and desire to help others led to her to working many years for Allstate Insurance, and after retiring, expanding her family to include working at Manna Restaurant at AdventHealth Castle Rock.

Mary’s family includes her husband of 35 years, Jayce MacDonald; their children Jared MacDonald and wife Heather, Jon MacDonald and fiancée Jess, and Joshua MacDonald and girlfriend Samantha; her precious grandson Jack; brothers Mike White and wife Chris and Jimmy White and wife Michelle; as well as dear joy warriors Amy Parker and Suzanne Rizley.

A celebration of Mary’s life will be at 9:00am on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Plum Creek Church in Castle Rock.
