Patricia Jo Wilson, a devoted and selfless woman, passed away on February 22, 2026, at the age of 84. Residing in Castle Rock, Colorado, Patricia was known for her generous, thoughtful, and humorous nature, which touched the lives of many.
Born on April 15, 1941, Patricia's early life was marked by her passion for ballet dancing. She was a graduate of Garden City High School in Garden City, Kansas. Her career included roles as a telephone operator and a scheduling supervisor at the Air Force Academy hospital, where her hard-working and dedicated spirit shone through.
Patricia married Charles H. Wilson on April 26, 1959, and they shared a life filled with love and commitment. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, survived by her son, Scott Wilson, and his fiancé Sara Vardell; her daughter, Corre "Wilson" Short, and her husband Loyd Short. Patricia also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Loyd J Short II, Cassie N. Hargroves, Haily D. Wilson; and a great-granddaughter, Lilyan R. Hargroves.
Her personal interests included gardening, observing hummingbirds, camping, solving puzzles, and reading, which she pursued with enthusiasm and joy.
A Celebration of Life will be held on March 16, 2026, at 1:00 pm at the Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson Chapel, located at 407 Jerry St, Castle Rock, Colorado, 80104. Patricia will be fondly remembered for her enduring legacy of kindness and devotion to her family and friends.
