Roger David Trachsel

Roger was born on November 5, 1946 in Goodland, Kansas. He graduated from Alhambra High School in Phoenix, Arizona in 1965, and Arizona State University in 1969. He then served as First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army, where he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for his service in the Vietnam War. Following his honorable discharge from military service, Roger began a career in the insurance industry. He enjoyed a wonderful 30-year career as manager of many branch locations of Chubb Insurance.

Roger's favorite pastimes were motorcycle road trips with his Harley Davidson buddies, and adventures in his sports cars. He also enjoyed sporting events at the gun clubs, and big wins at the Blackhawk casinos.

Roger was preceded in death by his father, David Trachsel; his mother, Elva Maxine Trachsel; his son, Kevin David Trachsel; and his feline sidekick, Oreo. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Donna Lynn Trachsel; his daughter, Kerry Lynn Trachsel; and his orange kitty buddies, Simba and Timon.
