On Wednesday, October 25, 2023, Seneca Shawn Sadler, age 41, loving husband and father, passed on from this life while surrounded by his wife, family, and friends. Seneca passed on after a long and courageous battle with colon cancer.
Seneca was born on October 9, 1982 in New Braunfels, Texas to Rex A Sadler and Shirley G Nelson. Seneca spent his childhood and school-age years in Texas, where he received his high school diploma. He later moved to Clarksburg, WV where he resided when he met his wife, Kimber J Tornes. Together, the couple relocated to Castle Rock, Colorado in 2014.
Seneca began his career in Colorado at Zynex Medical, where he held various positions throughout the years. His most recent position with the company was as a Corporate Account Manager and International Sales Manager. He will be deeply missed by his co-workers for his dedication, expertise, friendship, and the warmth he brought to the office throughout the years.
Seneca’s greatest passion in life was being the best father he could be to the daughter he shared with Kimber, Blakely Lauren Sadler. He was a true family man, and he enjoyed spending every possible moment with his girls. He took them to the movies, out to dinner, to the mountains for vacations, and many other fun filled activities. He enjoyed shopping and he always took his girls with him and spoiled them with prizes. He loved collecting glass bottles and Star Wars figurines. He was a devoted Green Bay Packers fan and he made sure that he and Kimber caught every Packers game. Seneca also loved animals, especially the family dachshund, Dexter Morgan. Another of Seneca’s great loves was his Chevy Colorado ZR2. He worked so hard to purchase his truck and was so proud that he did so. He was the family IT guy and spent countless hours helping others with computer conundrums. He was an avid TV Series and movie viewer and acquired quite the collection of media.
Seneca’s love transformed the lives of everyone he encountered. From fellow classmates, to coworkers, to strangers, he was kind, and he was selfless. He often gave money to the homeless and donated to friends, neighbors, and anyone that he knew was struggling. Seneca will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched.
