

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Helen Trierweiler, his niece Rhonda Griffin, and many beloved aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Kathy Letner, dear brother of Susan (William) Lennertz, Donna (Dr. James) McCoy, Mark Trierweiler, Patricia (Brien) Griffin, dear uncle of Corey (the late Rhonda) Griffin, Nathan McCoy, Cheryl (Sean) Trimpe, Colleen (Kenton Coleman) McCoy, Laura (Matthew) DeVan, Mateo Lennertz, and great uncle of Elijah, Evelyn and Estelle Trimpe. He will be missed by his aunt Joy Partridge, uncle Ray Brueggemeyer, and many cousins.
Todd was born in Cincinnati Ohio on August 2, 1952. He graduated from Cincinnati Elder High School in 1970, and attended the University of Cincinnati.
He married Kathleen Letner on August 12, 1987.
Todd had many interests and a variety of work experiences throughout his life. He started working for the Cincinnati Concession Company at age 14, enjoying his work at the Cincinnati Zoo and Music Hall. He later worked at the Cincinnati Enquirer, where he met his future wife, Kathy, in 1974. They soon moved to Colorado, where he worked for Alpine Log Homes, the Elbert County Sheriff’s Department, Luxury Rental Center, Kacey Fine Furniture, Haulaway, and Parts International.
Todd loved Colorado and enjoyed hiking and skiing mountains across the state. He had a passion for sailing and all modes of flight, especially paragliding. He loved music, and assembled a fine collection of instruments including guitars, drums, and keyboards. Todd’s dedication to protecting the environment inspired him to design and publish plans for a solar dog house.
Services will be private.
Todd loved Jazz and Blues, especially as broadcast by his favorite radio station, WWOZ in New Orleans. His family has requested that expressions of sympathy be made as memorial donations to the radio station in his honor.

Todd made friends quickly and easily, and lived his life authentically and enthusiastically, always guided by his deeply held values. So next time you are at Skyline Chili, lift a glass to Todd. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
