Elizabeth Blankenship

This is a devastating loss for our family and for the world as a whole. There is no way to make sense of why this happened, and we don't think we will ever fully understand it.

Beth was born in Lakeland, Florida on June 21st, 1984. She was adopted by her parents, Carol and Robert O'Neil when she was 11 months old. Beth attended Hammond High School and Long Reach High School, as well as Howard Community College. Beth lived her life in Maryland, Florida and Texas, throughout the years. She was a server at Red Lobster in Columbia, Maryland at the time of her death. Beth was a beautiful, fun-loving and vivacious young woman, always willing to help a friend in need.

She was a wonderful daughter, granddaughter, sister, mother and friend. Beth is survived by her loving parents, Robert and Carol O'Neil and caring brother Scott O'Neil, as well as her two beautiful children, Cody Tarvis and Laci O'Neil, whom she loved with all of her heart. Beth is also survived by all of her extended family and her many friends. Beth valued her friendships in the highest regard.

The celebration of Beth's life will begin with a viewing to be held at Sterling Ashton Schwab Witzke Funeral Home (1630 Edmondson Ave, Catonsville, MD, 21228) on Thursday, May 24th from 3:00 to 5:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Her funeral will be held on Friday, May 25th at 11:00 am at Sterling Ashton Schwab Witzke Funeral Home (1630 Edmondson Ave, Catonsville, MD 21228), followed by a burial at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens (2150 Mount View Rd, Marriottsville, MD 21104).

We are asking people to please bring a helium balloon with a weight attached to the viewing. Please write on it a fun story or message to Beth and we will be releasing these at the funeral. If you see Beth's children please take a moment to tell them how much their mother loved them and how special Beth was to you and all of us.
