On October 20, 2012, James Edwin Knight of Baltimore; Beloved husband of Virginia Ellen Knight (nee Wolfe) of 66 years; Loving father of Joseph E. Knight and his wife Michelle M.; Cherished grandfather of James E., Matthew T. and Michael A. Knight, Amber M. and Shelbi C. McDermott and great-grandfather of Zoe, Mikalynn and Lyli Knight; Dear brother of Anna, Margie, Reta, Karen and John. He was predeceased by his son, Jeffrey E. Knight; his grandson, Jeffrey D. Knight and by his brothers, Robert and Roy Knight. He was very devoted to his family and also to his church. He was an active member of the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, where he was a member of their choir, Methodist Men and also a member of the Rockland United Methodist Church choir.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Sterling Ashton Schwab Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Ave., Catonsville, MD 21228 on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 and Thursday, October 25, 2012 from 3 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm, where funeral services will be held on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 11am. Interment Loudon Park Cemetery.
