The daughter of Betty Jean Carver and Earl Leech Johnson Jr., Rita was born, raised and lived most of her life in the Glen Burnie and Pasadena areas. She was an avid cruiser and her last adventure was a trip on the Amazon River with her husband of 36 years Gordon H. Snyder.
Rita is survived by her loving husband, her sister Cheryl Johnson and brother Earl L Johnson III. She was the “Sticky Wet Mother” to Lynn, Susan, Natalie, Tracee and Steffany. A hip and fun loving aunt to Beth, Earl, Christy and Tony. And Mamacita to eight grandchildren.
The family would love to hear memories and stories from friends on Saturday, October 15th from 1 to 3pm at Sterling-Ashton-Schwab-Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Avenue, Catonsville, Maryland 21228.
