Barbara "Barbie" Jean DeWitt

Barbara was a Denver native born to Dorthey Hughes and Phillip Donmyer. She attended South High School and Metro State College. Barbara married Michael D. DeWitt in 1966 in Leadville, Colorado. Barbara had one brother, Dustin Eaglestone, proceeded in death and is survived by her husband Michael D. DeWitt, her two (2) children, Michael J. DeWitt and Michelle C. Forbes, five (5) Grandchildren, Collette Forbes, Ian Forbes, Phoebe Forbes, Riley DeWitt and Rachel DeWitt.

Barbara was a talented Seamstress, porcelain-doll maker and Gardener but also worked at University Hospital for many years.

Services will be held at Olinger Chapel Hill, 6601 S. Colorado Blvd., Centennial, CO 80121. (Viewing) Wednesday, November 7th, from 5:00 PM (MST) to 8:00 PM (MST). Funeral Service, Thursday, November 8th, 2:00 PM (MST).

We will all miss Barbara’s bright smile, caring heart and twinkle in her eye.
