
Bonnie Lou Hylton was born on September 5, 1948, in Englewood, Colorado. She suffered from Parkinson’s for many years and had a sudden and huge decline in April and May of 2024. She passed on May 10th, 2024 at the age of 76.
Bonnie is survived by her husband Jimmie D. Hylton. Bonnie had 2 daughters, Lisa Kehmeier, and her husband Wayne Kehmeier, and grandchildren Brittney and Trever. Teresa Faulkner and grandson Tyson Faulkner. Jim’s sons, Joe Hylton and his wife Lisa, and son Luke Jack Hylton and his wife Marie, two granddaughters Hannah and Alyssa. And of course, their pride and joy cat called Camellia (Cami)
Jim and Bonnie met at Folsom Field on July 4th, 1975 in Boulder, Colorado. They were married on July 4, 1990.
Bonnie Studied psychology and wanted to become a forensic psychologist, but realized their were too many courses to complete that. She had amazing typing skills that carried her through her life. She was able to type at 130 words per minute. She held many jobs using this skill. Her last job was as a secret shopper, which led her to become a private investigator for many prestigious hotels, and casinos.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Betty Lou Acker and Clark Burdick, Stanley Summers (a NASA scientist, who received about 12 awards of all kinds), her uncle, her bother Matthew Acker, and her grandparents Hazel J and Matthew M. Summers. They had a huge factor in caring for Bonnie as a child, Matthew worked hard for a safer city, by limiting liquor licensing and stopping the Gothic theater from showing vulgar and X-rated films. They helped in founding Hampden Hills Baptist Church. With his efforts for a safer Englewood, December 7, 1975, was declared M.M. Summers Day.
